I had a really good overall experience at the Century Northgate theatre. The seats were nice, the picture quality and sound were also good. Some of the staff seemed a bit unfriendly, especially the ticket girl, I suspect it's because the media told her Sound of Freedom is somehow evil (yes, the movie that is AGAINST child trafficking). Pretty wild Disney tried to bury this film. The movie is amazing. The acting, cinematography, and message all hit it out of the park. SoF would probably be nominated, and win, a bunch of Oscar awards if Hollyweird wasn't run by...well...you know... God's Children are not for sale.

Theater was clean, bathrooms were clean. There was a great selection of snacks, and the popcorn was warm and hot and super delicious. the staff was super sweet. it was super empty, which kind of made it a Plus, because we got to sit wherever we want.

Nostalgic to be back to the theathre! Every other row was blocked. There was only 4 people in our movie which was awesome, i hate it when it's crowded anyways. But there is something soo different and beautiful watching something on the big screen instead of home! P.S. popcorn was my only complaint, it tasted weird...like really weird maybe it was old.

Marin County opened theaters this weekend w strict Covid guidelines; expect to wear mask during show unless you're eating snacks. Also social distancing enforced; every other row. Not really affected since there were only 4 of us in the entire theater. Felt pretty safe since they fogg and disinfect theater between shows. At least you know theaters are much more cleaner compared to pre-Covid. Not sure if it was because we came in at late showing (9:40pm), snacks were pretty limited. Popcorn (kettle) and drinks available but no chips or hotdogs. Sacrificed having to drive 45 minutes, but It's great to finally see movies on big screen again. Hope other counties open up too especially San Mateo.
